Adding people, opportunities, notes from a Company page

Every section on a Company page has a "+" button so you can attach a related record without leaving the page.

The Company detail page has four right-column sections that each show records related to this company — People, Opportunities, Notes & tasks, and Messages. Each section header carries a count and a "+" affordance so you can add or link a record without losing your place on the company.

What each section does

The same pattern applies to a Person page (Opportunities + Notes & tasks + Messages) and an Opportunity page (Notes & tasks + Messages), though those have fewer right-column sections.

Linking a new person to a company

Open the Company page (click the company name from any list).

Find the People section in the right column.

Click "+ Person" on the section header.

The New person drawer slides in. The Company field is already filled with this company.

Type the person's first name and (optionally) email.

Click "Create person".

The person appears in the section immediately, and the count in the section header bumps by one.

Attaching a note to both a company and an opportunity

You can target a note at multiple records.

Open the Company page.

Click "+ Add ▾" in the Notes & tasks section header → "New note".

Title the note (e.g. "Pricing discussion").

In the Linked records picker, the company is already attached.

Click + Add to also pick an opportunity.

Write the body. Hit "Create note".

The note now shows up in the company's Notes & tasks section, the opportunity's Notes & tasks section, and that note's own detail page with both linked records visible.

Archiving and unlinking

Unlink a person from a companyOpen the Person side panel, clear the Company field, press . The person disappears from the company's People list on the next refresh.
Detach a note from one but not all targetsOpen the note's detail page and remove the target from the Linked records picker. The note stays attached to the others.
Delete a personUse the actions menu (the on the person side panel). This soft-deletes the row across the workspace; you can restore it from Settings → Trash within 30 days.

The "+ Add ▾" dropdown on Notes & tasks uses a single button instead of two separate ones to keep the section header tidy. The menu surfaces both New note and New task with their primary icons.

When you create a related record from a company page, the company link defaults to that company and the record is auto-saved into your workspace's default "Created by me" filter, so refresh-friendly.
